Mary-Jane (“MJ”) is Chair of AIG Insurance New Zealand Limited, Chair of the Fonterra Shareholders Fund, Chair of Partners Life and an Independent Director of Kiwibank Limited. She is also a member of the MBIE Risk and Advisory Committee. She has served on the boards of Kiwi Property, Auckland Transport, Toka Tu Ake EQC, Cigna Life Insurance, Airways Corporation of New Zealand, and the New Zealand Green Building Council.

In her executive career MJ worked mainly in banking and insurance in a variety of roles both in New Zealand and the UK. Her last executive role was as Executive General Manager at State Insurance. Prior to this appointment she was Chief Financial Officer for IAG in NZ.

When not In Auckland MJ enjoys spending time in Wanaka and making the most of all the outdoor activities on her doorstep there.

Angela Dixon was appointed as a director of AIG Insurance New Zealand Limited on 5 April 2023 and is Chair of the Risk Committee.  Angela has a strong background in insurance and financial services in a variety of roles both in New Zealand and the UK. Angela has held senior finance and executive positions at RSA UK, IAG, Public Trust. She is currently an Independent Director of Centrix Group, Unimed Medical Insurance, Landcorp Farming Ltd and Lotto NZ.   Angela is a current member of Chartered Accountants Australia and NZ and Chartered member of NZ Institute of Directors.

Chief Financial Officer, Pacific

Felix Paul was appointed as an Executive Director of AIG Insurance New Zealand Limited in July 2025. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer, Pacific.

Felix has broad experience in the insurance industry and has been with AIG since 2009 in various leadership positions, including as the Australasian Reinsurance Officer and most recently as the APAC Financial Controller. Over the course of his 25+ year career, Felix has worked across diverse geographies in a variety of roles in finance, reinsurance, captive insurance, technology and external audit, leading major strategic finance transformation initiatives. Prior to AIG, Felix held executive roles with Marsh in Australia and Bermuda. Felix is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Liam Pomfret commenced as an Executive Director of AIG Insurance New Zealand Limited in March 2024. Liam is currently GM of AIG New Zealand.

Liam has extensive insurance experience with more than 25 years working in underwriting and broking roles across multiple countries, including Asia Pacific Head of Professional Indemnity & Cyber, Financial Lines for AIG and senior Financial Lines roles with Aon New Zealand and Marsh New Zealand.

Mike Schubert was appointed as an independent director of AIG Insurance New Zealand Limited on 1 August 2022. Mike chairs the Board Audit Committee. He has an extensive history working in governance and executive roles across professional services, health, primary industries, and technology sectors. He was CEO of law firm MinterEllisonRuddWatts from 2016 to 2018 and a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for the 28 years prior. Mike is currently Deputy Chair and director at TSB and director and Audit Committee Chair of Silver Fern Farms Limited, director and Audit Committee Chair of ProCare and Homecare Medical (Healthline), and chair of technology company MiMoMax Wireless Limited.
