With recent data breaches hitting the headlines in Asia and New Zealand, loss of personal and corporate data has far-reaching implications for a company, its customers, and its employees. Most high-profile stories in the media today address the type of data loss that impacts people on a personal level: credit card numbers, medical records, birth dates, ID/passport numbers and other private personal information.
The impact from the loss of corporate data and information such as intellectual property and proprietary information is significant, and in the hands of a competitor or a criminal could severely disadvantage business.
CyberEdge is an innovative, specialist solution which addresses liabilities arising from data protection laws, the management of personal data and the consequences of losing corporate information.
Our dedicated panel of experts and specialists are available 24/7 to assist in the event of a cyber breach. The panel is co-ordinated by a Breach Coach who will triage the first notification and assist the business throughout the duration of the incident including using the support of IT Specialists and Public Relations Services.
CyberEdge is a specialist cyber insurance policy that has been specifically designed to respond to a much broader range incidents and risk exposures that are not covered under conventional property and casualty insurances.
Our updated CyberEdge policy provides a broad range of optional extension coverages that include Criminal Reward Fund, System Failure, Electronic Data Incident and more.
For a full list of optional extensions see our product profile in the documents section below.
Our dedicated cyber underwriters have the expertise and experience to ensure the policy is specifically tailored to your business’s needs.

Today, almost every business is dependent on their critical data, and face significant potential losses through compensation, fines, business interruption or reputational damage, in the event that the sensitive data enters into the public domain.
Our enhanced CyberEdge product is designed to cater to a broad range of businesses handling data or private corporate information, whether it be identity card numbers and corresponding profiles of employees, credit card information, sensitive demographic information about customers, information on budgets, customer lists, share prospectus or marketing plans.
